Iran: disinformation or power struggle?

While MSM concentrate (rightly so) on Iran’s rejection of the EU nuclear compromise, two apparently contradictory pieces of news have appeared on the wires:

- A bad start for Ahmadinejad’s presidency: newspapers closed, journalists arrested.

- Ali-Akbar Salehi, a moderate, will be the new foreign minister of Iran.

I think the situation in Iran is much more fluid than they would wish us to believe and that the vaunted concentration of power in the hands of the conservatives is far from having been settled.
