Iran’s little problems

These days when one reads stuff like this, one tends to suspect sabotage. The fact that the fire started in the guard room and spread to the pipeline sounds very improbable.

A blaze broke out on the Mahshahr Abadan oil and gas route in the south of Iran.

The Iranian News Agency quoted Mujtabi Khani, the chief Executive of the oil and gas pipelines in Iran's southwestern province of Khuzestan as saying that fire broke out in the guards room and spread in the gas and oil pipelines.

That fire was sparked by an explosion that killed one guard and injured two people.
