So funny

This is an open window on international politics:

Russia is considering purchasing an Israeli security fence to help with its problem of Islamist terror in Chechnya despite having condemned Israel for this same policy earlier. This is yet another piece of evidence that international opinion is not to be taken seriously. During a radio interview, former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir detailed to me how he routinely chose to defend Israel's interests despite international protest. Almost no consequences ever occured beyond diplomatic statements, however.

Perhaps Zapatero will be the next customer.
